A life-long collector and professional in the trade for almost 60 years, Mr. Nemati is now offering for investment, a small selection of masterpieces from his personal collection, available exclusively here.

 

The collection includes rare carpets designed for royalty, tapestries from European palaces, and a selection of the finest rugs from around the globe, including published works of art, each distinguished by their design, rarity, condition and investment value.

"Why at the prime age of eighty-three am I creating a site for my museum-quality carpets, tapestries and shawls?  First, because I am still in love with, and have invested my entire life to the study and collection of all kinds of woven art, regardless of country of origin.  I was born in Kerman, Iran, one of the most important rug centers in the world, with a sigma male personality.  From the age of fourteen I knew I was in love with this art form.  Seventy years later, I have published several texts and curated several museum exhibitions.  Now, bringing these museum quality artworks to the public here may be the prelude to finding the right audience who shares my enthusiasm for these artworks, and in so doing carries on my legacy."
